Top tips for choosing the right University:
1. Take the time and spend the money to visit Universities that you like the look of – this is VITAL.
2. Look carefully at what courses are offered and what they involve
3. Speak to people on the course if at all possible
4. Look at University League Tables both overall and for your subject.
5. Get advice from teachers at your current College
6. Attend University Open Days
7. Look at your strengths both academically and non-academically, can the University cater to your needs? Remember you have the power to make
these decisions.
8. From September 2011, the fees will be going up immensely, look to see if you can afford to go to that specific University.
